CNY Wind Blowing?

You might think that the post is totally not relevant to the title, but then, I am just trying to jumble everything up into one blog post to make up for the period of time that I stopped blogging.

First things first, I would like to wish all my friends and readers that are celebrating Chinese New Year in 6 days time. This year, as always, I will be in Miri to celebrate the Chinese New Year and of course, fill my stomach with food. Hehe, no offense but just a lame joke that I am trying to pull.

Then again, this year, I don't really feel the Chinese New Year atmosphere roaming around that much.. If you are wondering what I mean by that, its like, you can't feel the hyp-ness where people are excited to celebrate Chinese New Year... Maybe its the economical situation? Or just because of the "happenings" that has been happening in Miri lately... A lot of people are saying that the year 2009 is starting off with a very bad luck to Miri... Oh well, we just got to live to the fullest don't we?

Well then, what have i been doing for the past few weeks? I haven't been blogging or online as much for a start. Got a few personal stuff that I had to take care, and lots of running errands. Even so, I did not let the opportunity of pampering myself escape from my grasp hehe... I managed to get hold of the latest Sony Ericsson C905 Black Edition. From the moment i saw this phone, I was immediately mesmerized by the functions it has. Which includes, the latest 8.1 megapixel phone cam with Cybershot. As the official Sony Ericsson website dubs it, Picture Perfection.

Next on my pampering myself list is another gadget that I would dub as my media center... These few days I have been thinking of working on something like uploading mp3 ringtones for everyone to download... of course, the latest songs... and maybe the songs that you might want to request but most importantly, FREE.

So, what is this gadget that I am talking about? At first I considered of getting myself a MacBook... even considered the iPod classic and iPod touch.. but in the end, I settled down with an Asus EeePC. It is a bit small and has no optical drive, but it fits my purpose of portability and functionality.
